이 감옥이 지구상의 지옥이라 불리는 덴 이유가 있지.

바로 희망!

지난 몇 세기 동안 여기 갇힌 모든 이들이 빛을 바라보며 자유를 위해 기어오르는 상상을 하지.

난파된 선원이 죽을 듯한 갈증 때문에 바닷물을 마시는 것처럼 말이야.

그러고 나면 이곳은 희망이라곤 없는 진정한 절망이 된다.

내가 그들을 살려줄 것이니 그들은 살아갈 수 있을 것이고 넌 그들이 서로를 짓밟는 걸  지켜보게 될 거야.

태양아래 존재하기 위해서 말이지.

넌 내가 고담을 파괴하는 것을 지켜볼 수 있겠지.

네가 정말로 네 패배의 깊이를 깨달을 때 우린 라즈 알 굴의 숙원을 이룰 것이다.

우린 고담을 멸할 것이다 그리고 모든 것이 끝나 고담 시가 잿더미가 되면 그때는 허락해주마.
