헤드라인에서 콜론(:)은 동사로 대체가능하다

[헤드라인]의 간결성, 압축성을 가장 상징적으로 보여주는 한 단면이 바로 콜론(:)의 사용이다. 콜론이 문장 속에 삽입될 때는 대개 콜론을 중심으로 [말한 주체: 그 말의 내용]의 구조를 형성한다. 일반적으로 콜론은 say 동사를 집어넣어보면 십중팔구 해석이 가능하다. say로 해석이 안되면 문맥에 맞게 적당한 동사로 대체해서 해석을 하면 된다. 아래의 예문들을 보면서 익혀 보도록 한다.
